The first album was pretty much perfect (Keith agrees). Pick of Destiny wasn’t bad, in my opinion. I even think the movie has its charms. But it’s been a while since the mighty D have put out new material. Can they recapture any of the magic they used to have?

One of the more anticipated events of my 2012 calendar year was going to a Gambino concert when he went on tour again. I bought tickets to his March 30th show the day they went on sale. Then he broke his foot (or ankle, or whatever), and the show got delayed to a random Wednesday [...]

Over the weekend I attended a high school production of Grease. My girlfriend’s little sisters were involved in the musical, and being the supportive person that I am, I happily went along and observed the show. Now, in my four years of high school, I proudly didn’t attend a single after-school event (except intramural bowling, [...]

Childish Gambino’s new album Camp dropped yesterday, and I’ve immediately taken to it. And yes, I just said his album dropped, because I’m dope and I say things like that now. I’ve now given it two listen-throughs, and I thought I’d give some quick lyrical highlights from everyone’s favorite dong lover.

So I’m sure by now you’ve either seen ads, seen friends’ Facebook posts, seen Twitter updates, or whatever, that mention Spotify. Because someone I follow retweeted something by Demi Moore about Spotify I managed to get a free invite and check it out. I’ll tell you now: it’s not worth the fuss. Here’s why.

When I’m in an awful and depressing mood, the last thing I want to do is try and fix it. No, much like heroin, you try and push it to the absolute brink. For me, that starts with alcohol, and then gets flooded with the saddest music I listen to. I will often times watch [...]
